Shloka Nidhi
On a beautiful Saturday morning, kids from across the US and India came together to learn, chant, and discover the power of Hanuman. Here's how it went. 🙏
What We Taught
The Shloka & The Story
We started by introducing children to Lord Hanuman — the strongest and bravest devotee of Lord Rama. He can fly high in the sky, jump far, and lift heavy things. But more than his powers, children learned about his wisdom, kindness, and devotion. The message was simple: you can be brave, helpful, and full of devotion — just like Hanuman.
When Hanuman was a little child, he saw something bright in the sky that looked like a juicy fruit. He thought it was a yummy fruit and jumped very high to catch it — not knowing it was the Sun! This story of courage and curiosity had the kids laughing and amazed. The lesson: be brave, curious, and confident.
Children learned the opening doha of the Hanuman Chalisa, word by word, with rhythm and meaning:
Lavanya explained each line in simple English:
Every child left with these lessons in their heart:
Jai Hanuman! 🙏
